AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.1.1 Released
The date is Wednesday, January 12th, 2022. The first Radeon Software Adrenalin software update of the year was issued by AMD. According to the manufacturer, version 22.1.1 includes optimizations for “Monster Hunter Rise” and “God of War,” as well as a performance boost of up to 7 percent tested at 4K Ultra settings with the Radeon RX 6900 XT when compared to the previous 21.12.1 drivers. Issues that have been identified

AMD Radeon Software Settings – What Do They All Mean?

Radeon Software Settings is a set of settings that can be found in the AMD Catalyst Control Center. Fortunately, for the majority of people, this is a no-go zone, and they are quite content to let each unique game determine which graphical settings are ideal for them.
For your convenience, we’ve put together a list of the most important features you’ll find in Radeon Software Settings, with a special emphasis on the “Gaming” and “Display” areas.
Using this function, input latency may be reduced by ensuring that the CPU and GPU speeds are in sync with one another. Sounds wonderful, especially considering the promise of up to 32 percent input latency reduction, but in fact, the feature must be supported by a certain game, which may restrict its advantages. There has been a great deal of debate regarding which kind of games gain the most from this function, and it appears that you should turn it off for games that are CPU-intensive to avoid incurring a performance penalty.
If excessive heat (and the performance throttling that results from it) is a source of worry for you, then turning on Radeon Chill is a no-lose situation. Due to the fact that this function regulates the framerate based on your in-game movement, it may be used to covertly drop the framerate when it is not going to influence your pleasure of the game (for example, when there is no on-screen movement).

In Radeon Settings, you may choose between three different forms of anti-aliasing:

Anisotropic Filtering Mode

This technology, which is mostly for laptops, dynamically changes the screen brightness depending on a variety of factors, including whether you’re hooked into a power source, if you’re gaming, and other factors. This function can be a bit aggravating because Windows already has its own built-in screen dimmer that activates when the computer is unplugged from the power source, and it has been shown to conflict with it. We recommend that you turn off auto screen dimming unless you really need it.

AMD’s Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition: Better Performance, Integer Scaling, More

AMD launched its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 2019 driver update almost precisely one year ago, and the Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 2020 driver update has already been released. This now-annual update brings significant speed improvements as well as new features to the table. However, it should be noted that several of these titles were launched after the introduction of Adrenalin 2019, therefore it is reasonable to expect improvements in these titles. An additional new feature is the inclusion of DirectML Media Filters in the system.
AMD claims that this approach outperforms typical de-noise and upscaling filters in terms of overall quality.
The AMD Boost function, which is yet another new addition, is intended to boost performance when quick motion is recognized.
According to AMD, there is minimal to no discernible difference in image quality.
When it comes to these titles, AMD claims an average increase of 23 percent.
Finally, but certainly not least, there is AMD Link.
The revised software has a more streamlined user interface that is consistent across all devices and consolidates streaming features into a single location for faster access.
Also available is the ability to instantaneously capture GIFs from the smartphone and share them.
Overall, the redesigned graphical user interface (albeit it is fairly huge in 4K) should improve the overall user experience because there is a lot of information and convenience in one place.
